Babbles August 17 -Sept. 18
I hope everyone is getting back into the groove of school. It is certainly too hot to do anything else!! We have had to cancel lessons for the past two weeks because of the heat. Hopefully it will cool off for next week. We have lots of new lesson students that are chomping at the bit to get started!! This Satuday we will be Oakfield so hopefully it will cool off by 7 for the start of the show! Everyone have a great weekend!
Babbles July 22 - August 17
Hope everyone is having a great summer. Enjoy it all you can - it is almost over!!! There were a few of us at Oakfiled last night. Mackenzie placed 4th in lead line. Sarah Saddler placed 3rd in youth poles (fabulous for her first run on her new horse Santana!!!) And Rachel Gokel placed 3rd in youth walk trot (out of a huge class of about 15 or so!!!!) So it was a good night for our skeleton crew!! We hope to have a newsletter out this week, as well as get a lot of work done to the website. I need to do some major updating of information as well as post pictures of all of the new babies and more current pics of the "old" babies! We have new boarders that are not on there. We also have several new horses at the barn that I need to let everyone meet! And we have a few horses that have moved on to new homes that I need to take off. No promises for how quickly I will get it all done, but I will get started as soon as the newsletter is finished. We will let everyone know how Justin is doing at NBHA Youth World as soon as we hear!
Back 9 Babbles June 15 - July 22
OK - time for a new thread! I don't want us to get in a rut!! This will be a pretty quiet weekend. Annette and Justin are off to Clarksville Saturday and then on to The Ranch Horse World Show Monday where they will meet up with Dandy competing as well. Not much happening around here this weekend as far as shows. Oakfield is going on, but none of our crew is competing. I might take Dakota and let Kenzie do lead line and then actually get to leave by 8:00!! But of course Gibson County is next weekend, so I am sure we will have a full crew going there!! We'll let you know how Annette, Justin and Dandy do!
Here is the link for the first batch of photos from summer camp. There are a few from the last day of week 1. Then there are some from weeks 2 & 3 (for some reason I downloaded then in reverse order, so you have to go through 3 to get to 2 - sorry!) I have a few more from week 3 that I haven't downloaded yet, but I'll get to them soon. I did not edit them at all, so here they are - the good, the bad and the ugly!!!. You can purchase any prints that you like from dotphoto and you can edit them as far as cropping and stuff if you want to. If anyone else has any that they would like to share, please let me know!!

Back 9 Babbles: May 12 - June 15
Here are the photos from the Gibson County Saddle Club Show and the County 4H Show the next day. Pardon some of them - Mackenzie got a hold of my camera and I didn't take the time to delete them.

Enjoy them - there are some really good ones in there!
Back 9 Babbles April 7 - May 12
Boy, was the Good Friday Camp cold!!!!! But the 23 die-hard horse fanatics that attended toughed it out and had a blast!!!! (and not just a blast of cold air!!) I will try to get photos posted this weekend. Ms. Linda, Ms Annette, Alex, Justin and I will be headed to Equine Affaire in Columbus, OH, this week. This is our barn's 3rd attendance to this great event and we are so excited!! So don't expect alot of posts from us from Wednesday til Monday. We will be soaking up horse knowledge!! Also, we are planning another mini-camp on Frday, May 11th, which is Strawberry Festival, if we have enough participants. So please sign up early for that one so we can make the appropriate plans. Happy Easter!!
